Juno Bio Accepts HSA / FSA Payments

You can use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to get your comprehensive Juno Bio Vaginal Microbiome Test.

Juno Bio accepts HSA/FSA payments

Juno Bio has partnered with Flex to allow you to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA). This means you can now use your HSA or FSA debit card to buy the comprehensive Vaginal Microbiome Test with pre-tax dollars, resulting in net savings of 30-40%.

To use your HSA or FSA debit card, add the vaginal microbiome test to your cart as usual. From your cart, press the "Continue to checkout" button to proceed to checkout.

On the checkout page, you will see an option to pay with HSA/FSA. After entering your personal details, select "Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA" and press "Pay now".

For single test purchases, make sure to choose on "Pay with HSA/FSA" during checkout.

You will be taken to a page to complete the health intake questionnaire, where you will be asked a few questions to assess whether you qualify for a Letter of Medical Necessity. Once you have successfully completed the questionnaire, you can enter your HSA or FSA debit card and complete your purchase. If you don’t have your HSA or FSA card handy, you can enter credit card information and our partner Flex will email you an itemized receipt to submit for reimbursement.

For subscription purchases, press the "Pay with HSA/FSA" button in the cart to proceed to checkout. You will be guided through steps to complete your HSA/FSA purchase, as described above!

For subscription purchases, simply press on "Pay with HSA/FSA" in your cart. That's it!

FAQs

What is an FSA or HSA and what are the benefits?

An FSA (Flexible Spending Account) and an HSA (Health Savings Account) are tax-advantaged accounts for medical expenses but differ in key aspects. FSAs, employer-sponsored, allow employees to use pre-tax dollars for medical expenses such as prescriptions and copays, but typically feature a "use-it-or-lose-it" policy where funds must be used within the plan year. HSAs are available to those with a high-deductible health plan and offer more flexibility, allowing funds to roll over annually.

What is Flex and what is their relationship with Juno Bio?

Juno Bio has partnered with Flex to allow you to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA). This means you can now use your HSA or FSA debit card to buy the Juno Bio Vaginal Microbiome Test with pre-tax dollars, resulting in net savings of 30-40%, depending on your tax bracket.

How do I pay with my HSA or FSA card?

To use your HSA or FSA debit card, add products to your cart as usual. At checkout, select “Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA” as your payment option, fill in the health intake questionnaire, enter your HSA or FSA debit card, and complete your checkout as usual. If you don’t see “Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA” during checkout, you may be in Shop Pay. Select “checkout as guest” to view more payment options.

If you are purchasing a subscription, you will see a “Pay with HSA/FSA” button in your cart.

What if I don’t have my HSA/FSA card available?

If you don’t have your HSA or FSA card handy, still select “Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA” as your payment method and fill in the health intake questionnaire to determine whether you qualify for a Letter of Medical Necessity. Enter your credit card information and Flex will email you an itemized receipt to submit for reimbursement.

Why can’t I see Flex as a payment method?

You may need to log out of Shop Pay, if you are logged in. One of the easiest ways to do this is to go through checkout in an incognito browser window.

Why is my HSA/FSA card being declined?

HSA/FSA cards are debit cards, and the most common reason for declines is insufficient funds. Reach out to your HSA/FSA administrator to confirm your balance.

I submitted my Flex itemized receipt for reimbursement and my FSA requires more information.

Please forward us the request from your FSA, and we will work with the Flex team to issue you a new receipt.

I didn’t receive an email from Flex with my itemized receipt and/or letter of medical necessity. What should I do?

Please check your spam folder, as sometimes emails from notifications@withflex.com may be automatically filtered as spam by some email service providers. If you still can’t find it, please email support@withflex.com and let them know the email address associated with your order.

Is sales tax covered by HSA/FSA funds, or is it treated separately?

Sales tax for eligible items is also covered by HSA/FSA funds.

What is a Letter of Medical Necessity?

The Letter of Medical Necessity is essentially a note from a doctor stating that you are purchasing an item to treat or manage a medical condition.
